THE VISIT PROGRAM
This experience is a tasting tour of the seven wines that marked the history of the Bonomo family. These wines will tell you how the company has grown and became distributed all over the world and is known as one of the top wineries of Italy in the world. Taking you through a historic journey (more than sixty years ago), means experiencing many emotional changes and learning the trials and tribulations of a winemaker’s job. Starting from the vineyard, you will see the sustainable practices applied, the soil and its characteristics. We begin at the entrance of the winery to learn about the history marked by a big tall cross (from a monastery) that overlooks the hill from the 17th century. From there, you will be guided to the barrel cellar where the most prestigious wines of the Bonomo family are refined. Crossing these barrels, your sense of smell is captured by the hints of vanilla of the French oak that are so fresh thanks to the presence of the ultraviolet lamp technology. These ultraviolet lights sterilize the rooms nightly for four hours and allow the wines a long and safe rest bacterial loads. The history of the Bonomo family is told and enclosed in each of the seven wines you will taste in a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Two old vintage wines explore the evolution of the area, and our family and five wines from the current vintages. The tasting is accompanied by typical local cold cuts and cheeses of the region to enhance the hints of these wines and accompany local products of the region with harmony and delicacy.
The visit is for enthusiasts and experts who want to know the stages that have marked the history of this area and the Bonomo family which promotes its wines with passion and love.
