A visit to the wine cellar dedicated to taste and health.

The elements of nature reduce our anxiety by improving mood and allow us to strengthen our immune system. That’s why this visit is dedicated to the outdoor spaces that surround our estate, it is a landscape of charm, covered in rolling hills and by vast vineyards on which the beautiful sky seems to rest.

Upon arrival at the Monte del Frà winery, you will be welcomed by Carol or Silvia, representing the third generation of the Bonomo family, who for many years have been passionately dedicated to welcoming guests. Starting from the entrance  of the estate, you will move into a tour that highlights the historical aspects of our family. It began in 1958 when humility and determination, our grandfather Massimo began the farmer activity. After a quick overview of winemaking, what follows is an invitation to discover the areas where our most prestigious wines such as Amarone and the Sexaginta Family Reserve remain undisturbed.  Walking in the cellar rooms, you will smell hints of wood – so fresh and clear, that your sense of smell will be intoxicated. This is considered a rarity in the basement of a wine cellar, possibly due to the presence of ultraviolet lamps atop of the ceiling which are used to sterilize the barrel rooms for four hours nightly.
The absence of bacterial load is one of the main family techniques that is used to produce wines with reduced sulphites. Once back to the main level of the winery, you can take a walk through the vineyards of the splendid Garganega grape, which is the most important variety for the production of white wines from the Veneto region. The vines surround the entrance of the winery and give you a wonderful view. You will go up the hill to the cross for a breathtaking view of all the vineyards. Upon your return, our wines, accompanied by local cheeses, will be awaiting you under the shade of olive trees.
